  Air cargo industry is a time-efficient demanding field with the employees in air cargo industry need to act accordingly. The prefer mace of these employees varies due to different background, characteristics, etc. The purpose of this research was to exam the locus of control、job characteristic、organizational climate、job stress and job performance on performance of air freight container staffs, analyzing the variation on five structures of varied demographic variables, and discussing the relationship between each structure. Questionnaires were conducted 110 questionnaires were obtained and analyzed by using SPSS10.0 program.

   The result of study indicates that the employee of introverted control has greater job stress. If the employees have the higher perception in task identity and task significance, they will have the higher employee job stress. Feedback and job stress are positively correlated. In the dimension of organizational climate, there is no significant positive correlation between job stress and all dimensions. When the perceptions of work over load are high, employee will have the high job performance and when the perceptions of skill-low-utilization are high, employee will have the low job performance. Job performance has no significant mediating effects on locus of control, job characteristic and organizational climate.
