       In Taiwan, buses must stop within 1 meter of the curb according to the law. If the bus does not stop in the parking area when it stops, it will have a bad influence.However, the previous studies on bus parking did not consider the impact of the bus on the surrounding traffic flow if the bus is not actually parked in the parking area.Therefore, this study discusses the impact on the safety and efficiency of the surrounding traffic flow caused by the bus stop if it is not parked close to the curb, and uses the fixed millimeter-wave radar to collect vehicle trajectory data, extracts 587 bus stop events and analyzes them. Use a mixed-effects model to stratify and quantify the impact of buses not stopping close to curbs.Also use the Binary Logit models to find out the factors that affect the bus's inability to park in the parking area, and calculate how much the probability of not being able to park in the parking area will be increased. The results of the study found that when there is a car on the right side when the bus enters the station, the bus enters the road section from the middle lane, and there is parking on the roadside upstream of the road section, it will increase the probability that the bus cannot park in the parking area by 1-2 times. If the bus stops in the non-stopped parking area, the efficiency of the surrounding traffic will be reduced, and the vehicles will be forced to slow down and wait behind the bus. Among them, because the locomotives are more often driven in the outermost two lanes, Therefore, the impact on locomotives is greater than that on cars.
