Title THE PROBABLE LEGAL ISSUES OF EXERCISE JOINT RIGHTS IN TAPEI AND NEW TAIPEI METRO’S CASE

Summary

        After more than 20 years’ operation of mass rapid transit system of Taipei urban area, Taipei Metro has become indispensable in civic life. With increasing of operation routes, the new Circular line of first stage on the Taipei mass rapid transit system also had begun operations on January 31st, 2020. After July of 2020, for self-financing or other reasons, New Taipei City tended to withdraw the operation contract which existed in Taipei and New Taipei City's metro.
        Although this topic of it was just a discussion, the operation contract of Circular line existed probable legal issues of exercise joint rights, such public-owner land, copyright, personal data and so on. This article will propose corresponding suggestions by The Mass Rapid Transit Act, Copyright Act, Personal Data Protection Act and related laws, and hope useful for planning or making decisions of its authority
