　　The purpose of editing this planning and design manual is to provide systematic arrangement and direction for installing the traffic signs that includes relative criteria and planning, design, construction, management and maintenance. It can also be used as a training material for newcomers and can enhance the standards for locating traffic signs.

　　The rule of traffic control devices is the basic principle for this manual. It includes a table for designing traffic signs, reference figures for designing traffic signs, examples for material analysis, examples for locating traffic signs in road construction sections, and material test methods in CNS. It will be very convenient for users.
