Title A survey on the origin-destination data of the export-import commodities in Taiwan area (Appendix)

Summary   In order to achieve the national policy objective, developing Taiwan as an Asia-Pacific Regional Operating Center, and to develop an integrated development planning for the international harbors and airports in Taiwan, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding on the orgin-destination(OD) data of the export-import commodities in Taiwan area.
  The survey results can be used as the reference basis for the following planning, such as inland transportation system planning of the international harborsor airports, sea line planning, freight network planning, and the allocations of the freight Distribution Centers. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive survey on the freight O-D data of the export-import commodities in Taiwan area.
  The survey subjects in this study are the commodities exported/imported through five international harbors and two airports in Taiwan.
  The items considered in this survey are:
-The volume and O-D of the export-import commodities(Domestic ends were grouped as 56 traffic zones, and foreign ends were grouped by country).
-The inland transportation modes for export-import commodities.
-The inland forward types for export-import commodities.
-The fare cost and traval time of inland transportation for export-import commodities.
