| Summary | This project mainly focuses on the procedure IOT used in map digitization, editing, and data exchange of national transportation atlas. Digitization source is the latest version of paper maps from the Ministry of Interior, which are in 1:25,000 scale. Research issues include map digitization process, initial spatial/attribute data editing and checking, accuracy analysis, sorting process of link identification, and data transformation. For the purpose of creating the unique link identification system, sorting algorithm was adopted in the encoding procedure. To share this national transportation road network atlas, data transformation procedures and programs for Mapinfo and ESRI are also discussed and provided. |
