| Summary | To meet with our government’s policy of developing the public transport system, this study focuses on the rationalization of intercity ground passenger transport network, which includes rail and road passenger transport systems. By taking into account the views of the passengers, operators and government, the rational operational network structure, the suitable integration scheme of transfer between systems, and the complete information system of operations are proposed. The result of this study could be used as the reference for future improvement and development of the intercity ground passenger transport systems so as to raise the operating performance and further promote the development of public transport. |
