Project Status

Subject Expressway LED lamp test program and cost-benefit analysis(1/2)
Purpose

The researche project implement a demonstration for LED road lighting and measurements. The We select the road section in Tai No.61 Western Coast Expressway at 82 K to 86 K for LED lighting property analysis including electrical and optical property. In electrical property, we measure power consumption for energy saving reason. In optical property, we measure mean value of photometry, uniformity, TI, CRI, color shift and color dispersion of the light luminaire. For investigating the decay and maintenance property, we measure the optical property at every 1000 hours totally 6000 hours. We also analysis the result after setting LED road lighting in safety, maintenance, economy effect for future reference.

For the lifecycle management perspective, the establishment the replacement and analysis model from traditional luminair to LED luminair, including all stages of road lighting design, build, maintain, and transport and other cost recovery stage. Benefit analysis should include the internal benefits of electricity saving and carbon reduction of external benefits. And compared with the traditional lighting of the national model and advanced results. Also consider the safety, maintenance, economy, setting range of LED lights set up to provide future reference. In this analysis of national, provincial build the applicability and feasibility of LED lights, as well as its cost-efficiency and carbon reduction effect. As a follow up to the transport sector development and economic cooperation department of LED lights build policy and strategy of the reference data.
