　　This 4-year project is to combine vessel dynamics as well as nautical chart and meteorological information to develop intelligent application service technologies for green routes and smart piloting in maritime transportation. Important indicators and directions for shipping efficiency and safety will be developed, in respects of monitoring, prevention, and immediate reaction.

　　This third year of the project will integrate databases, tools and services developed in previous projects to build an application system for route planning, analysis and monitoring. A web site will also be set up as a platform to disseminate messages of recent developments in related international regulations and technologies. Finally, a draft plan of an intelligent navigation center will be delivered.
