　　At 2014-2015, the travel survey of Taiwan Area Comprehensive Transportation Planning Research Series has done by Institute of Transportation and analyzed the intercity trip characteristics between weekday and holiday. And this year, the additional investigation will be continued in this study. With the previous two years study the subjective work will be to complete The intercity transportation demand model (TDM2016). To examine and amend the modal, to perform the demand and supply analysis.

　　In this research, a new model structure for integrating TDM2016 with Life Zone Transportation Demand Model and Region Transportation Demand Model, which are developed by Construction and Planning Agency of Ministry of the Interior, will be proposed. The new model structure, which mainly focuses on modifying road network, user interface and screen line traffic volume survey, will serve as a basis for further discussion on functional requirement of Northern Taiwan area integrated transportation demand model.

　　In addition, this research will also apply big data analytics on carrying out a trial trip characteristic survey with portable devices in small scale and verifying the result of trip characteristic survey and demands forecasting of last study.
