Institute of Transportation, MOTC

　　Transportation Construction is the core element in economic development with contributions to nation's competitiveness. Due to limited government fiscal budget, objective economic analysis has become an important tool for the government to make policy decision. The Institute of Transportation. MOTC is aimed to improve the credibility of economic analysis through this project and the scopes of this project are as follows:

1. Evaluate the Handbook of Economic Analysis for Transportation Projects using current social and economic and the goal of energy saving and carbon reduction. Assess the property of each parameter and improve the credibility of economic analysis.
2. Recommend or review parameters and calculations methods in economic analysis with regards to incorporating cross-field value-adding financial concept to integrated transportation constructions projects.
3. Update economic analysis software to improve interface applicability and friendliness.
4. Host training session to facilitate the knowledge of transportation and planning practitioners on economic analysis.
