| Summary | The purpose of this project is to propose a short-term plan of implementing Big Dataapplication for MOTC. By analyzing 28 foreign traffic Big Data application cases in public transport, highway and railway fields and interviewing nine bureaus for their needs, this project introduces five policies, Strategy, Message, Asset, Risk and Transformation (SMART) to achieve the goal of making decision based on Big Data. This study use Taichung city as a role model to conduct big data analysis on bus transportation from node and line analysis prospective. The result of this study can help transit agency to monitor blind spot of their route planning , which is the foundation of proposing management strategy for improving bus transportation. Based on the role model of foreign public transportation data platform, this research also look back and study past research on construction and application of big data analysis platform, as well as identify domestic public transit data to propose related platform structure and framework. |
