| Summary | To meet future challenge, the minister of MOTC has asked the IOT to formulate short-term policies and development plans for the oncoming 21 century. Each policy and project included in this report needs to have enough broadview and foresight to cope with the future changes. The long-term development aspects had been designated in (The Transportation Policy White Book) published in 1995, and so this report is positioned as an integration of the short-term transportation policies and projects. This Institute proposed the overall policy objectives and visions, and the transport-related agencies suggested the executive projects and the yearly-budget for the next coming 5 years. Via this interaction, our Institute has integrated the related information into this short-term transportation policy report for the MOTC. Through this report, we believe readers from the public will have an overall understanding about our nation’s cross-century transportation policies and projects in the coming three to five years. |
