| Summary | This study articulated past results and experiences and enhanced the automated scheduling technology developed in the past to cover data platform design, simulation, and timetable stability evaluation. We also performed demand interviews and system operation training with Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) schedulers to validate the practical applicability of the core technology, user interface, and data interfacing and confirm the ability of the system to be used in the TRA in the future. The system could be used to improve the efficiency of TRA’s train scheduling process and to evaluate the feasibility of new railway projects. |
