Summary | To provide the user more up-to-date highway operation performance data, this project updates the database of the “Highway Performance Evaluation System”, including geospatial data, traffic accidents, traffic volume, and travel time data. It is very labor-consuming and time-consuming to integrate the data from different agencies using varied data formats. Therefore, to simplify the data exchange issues and heterogeneous systems integration on the related systems, this project collects the data, simulates the input sources, analyzes and demonstrates the transportation GIS application platform prototype referring to the GOS-TP and GOS-PI contents of OGC pilot project. The main purposes of the project include establishing the data exchange and heterogeneous systems integration rudimentary structure, accelerating the data circulation, improving the data utilization, reducing the data and system buildup time, and expanding the data application. The issues of this project focus on the analysis and demonstration of system interface and interpretation data. The system prototype could provide IOT to develop GIS DataWarehouse. Furthermore, it was able to bring up the traffic network digital atlas standard for transportation data circulation, exchange and application, in coordination with impetus of National Geographic Data Project. |
