| Summary | The development of a computer-aided software on livelihood highway capacity analysis has been completely rebuilt as a Windows 98/ME/2000/XP application. The standard installation (and un-installation) and graphic interface provide engineers with an effective tool for highway capacity analysis. We have established the system by referring and in accordance with relevant Highway Capacity Manuals, both the Taiwanese and US versions, to build the Taiwan Highway Capacity Analysis Software 2006. All theory of the Taiwanese HCM has been digitalized in this year. The software incorporates standard Windows functionality which adds several practical capabilities for users. A major capability is the dynamic output panel which will be available beneath the input screen. As soon as data is entered, real-time computations are executed in both the input panel and the output panel, which are provided in a split screen view. The output panel can not only be printed out in a format directly, but also can copy any or all of its content to other documents or programs easily. |
