| Summary | Published in June 2003 IOT SERIAL No.92-59-4171，260 pp. Due to the new policy of bus operation subsidy and service level assessment along with the existing regulations such as the routes application and ticket pricing, the related authorities and deliberation committees are facing more challenges. Therefore, a decision support system (DSS) for bus operation and management would be a useful tool for the authorities to fulfill their duties. This study adds some subsystems according to the development program suggested in the pilot project, which includes the motor carrier management information query subsystem, subsidy subsystem, database management subsystem and system management subsystem. Moreover, this study keeps expanding the motor carrier data and digital bus route graphic data to enhance the database. |
