| Summary | The purpose of this project is to treat of the requirements of related regulations, process flow, the characteristics of industry and technologies for the using of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology of air cargo transportation supply chain in Taiwan’s international airports, and site the suggestion solutions. The project will refer the collective information of the air cargo transportation supply chain related strategies, regulations, standards, suggestions and current condition and future development trend of the RFID projects in important international airports which were drafted by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA), World Customs Organization (WCO), do the integration of operation flow of air cargo supply chain in Taiwan, and research and propose the suggestion solutions of air cargo transportation with RFID technologies and system in Taiwan airports. By analyzing the results of the small-scale scenario test for the introduction of RFID technology and with the proposal of the investigation of feasibility and future research suggestions in air cargo transportation, it could facilitate the airports using the RFID related operations in the future, promote Taiwan airports using RFID technology in air cargo security and track and trace operation smoothly, amplify the anticipative function and performance, promote the efficiency of air cargo transportation operations, and accelerate the competition of airport service in Taiwan. |
