| Summary | Based on the impartial traffic concept for serving every individual, this project has planned a taxi privileged transportation service for the handicapped. There are many subjects in this project, such as the study of taxi system characteristics, the taxi service advantage, the market differential of taxi services, the function role of taxi in the barrier-free traffic environment and the characteristics of the need of the handicapped on taxi services. For the taxi privileged transportation service, the study also has designed a logo system, a marking plan and a model of the operation management, Furthermore, a method has been established for the users’satisfaction evaluation and the assessment of the transport operators’ efficiency. In order to be referred easily, the method of planning and operating the taxi privileged service for the handicapped discussed in the report of the project is summarized in this manual. |
