| Summary | The purpose of “the overall development plan for Taiwan commercial port” project is to setup the guideline for Taiwan’s commercial port development from year 2007 to 2011. In order to make the best use of port resource and to structure overall development direction, the study will focus on following issues: Change of overall environment in recently years Forecast of future port’s development Propose the overall development strategy Setup each port’s future position and function Suggest each port’s future task Being an overall planning and guideline for future Taiwan commercial ports, this study will research the topic from a wider view and discover the entire problems which were faced. From the outcomes the immediate vision will be purposed, the future international and domestic commercial ports’ position, function and target can be assured. Moreover, this study can be the guideline for every port’s future planning and development project. |
