The factors include hardware, (i.e., installation place and short circuits), and software, (i.e., phases, timing plan, offset). The current issues of traffic signals such as the application of LED (Light-Emitting-Diode) signals, count down signals, and accessible pedestrian signals, traffic signal controllers, and the signal indications being simultaneously displayed are discussed. This report aims to serve as a reference for all local governments to improve their traffic signal design. |
