Summary | In response to the demand for point-to-point barrier-free transportation services arising from the fact that Taiwan is about to enter a super-aged society. The research conducted a comprehensive review of “Promoting the General Taxi Charter System (1/2) – System Expansion and Cross-Ministry Cooperation Strategic Planning and Implementation” in the 110-111 Domestic general (barrier-free) taxi transportation operating environment, and the “I-Taxi“ service has been promoted to six municipalities across the country. Various services of the general taxi special system have been implemented steadily and orderly, and are generally welcomed and recognized by people with disabilities. This phase of the research plan investigates and analyzes the operational performance of the “I-Taxi” service, and cooperates with the system established by the previous phase of study “Promote the General Taxi Special System (1/2) – System expansion and crossministerial cooperation planning and implementation” to handle related follow-up promotion services, understand the deficiencies and suggestions of general taxi operation services. Using the feedback to correct the system, the study also conducts general taxi operation surveys and analysis, proposes a pre-service and on-job training program for general taxi drivers, and establishes an authorization mechanism to help government authorities promote the general taxi charter service. |
