| Summary | In this study, foreign experiments and publications related to Daytime Running Lights were considered and two test road sections of Provincial Highway No.7 and No.9 were selected for implementing expriments to evaluate the safety effectiveness of the use of headlight in daytime. According the before-and-after study findings and the survey of public attitude, some suggestions on the use of headlight in daytime had been made for improving multiparty head-on collisions. It is expected that this study is not only a useful reference for modifying the road safety regulations，but also a good guide for routing enforcement. |
