Summary | In line with the Institute of Transportation (IOT) Research Plan 2014 and the key scientific and technological development services program which MOTC aims to promote, this project studied the intellectual property rights (IPR) issues of the aforementioned plan and program, and provides suggestions for patent applications and future research directions for our Institute. The outcomes of this project could also benefit discussion of IPR aspects of MOTC’s the key scientific and technological development services program. This project also handled patent licensing and technology transfer of IOT’s innovative research results in order to promote their effective application in government and industry, and to improve the outcomes of traffic administration and upgrade technology in the transportation industry.
In view of establishing a knowledge management mechanism and knowledge sharing services, and to enhance the learning efficiency and learning culture at IOT, and to promote academic exchange about IOT’s scientific and technological research, this project continued the data maintenance and updating, and functional upgrading of IOT’s knowledge management system and established an online sharing service for traffic technology and knowledge to provide up-to-date technology documentation and patent information to users in government and industry. The outcomes of this research project are expected to greatly enhance the innovative development of the traffic technology industry in Taiwan. |
