Summary | The main purpose of this study is to develop a software to test the integration of the accident location analysis program and geographic information systems (GIS). We use the abilities of map display and spatial data processing in GIS to alleviate the current string problem of location described by police in their reports. Furthermore, a prototype for combining associated accident databases is proposed in this study. The results are as follows. Alleviating the string problem of location description in the previous program. Developing a software prototype to integrate the accident location analysis program and GIS.
