Summary | Owing to the well and rapidly constructed Internet environment, people can easily get lots of information via the Web recently. In view of this trend, IOT has been devoted to developing various Transportation Geographic Information Systems on the Internet. The first system is (An Information Inquiry System for the Transportation System of the Recreation Districts in Taiwan) , which adopted Web-Based GIS to transmit the attribute data of road and map by vector form quickly. The second system is (The Information Inquiry System for the Broken or Blocked Bridge and Road in Disaster Area on 921 Earthquake), which provide the up-to-date blocked information about road and bridge for all the rescuers’ reference. The third system is (The Real-time Traffic Information System) , which includes the real-time traffic information of the National Sun Yat-Sen Freeway. This study integrates the above three studies and provides people with the real-time traffic information. |
