| Summary | Published in February 2004 IOT SERIAL No. 93-14-290, 108pp. In this study, a data mining system is developed to analyze the tracks of moving vehicle to probe the hidden information from them. An interactive method is adopted in the system. Sampling is performed on the original data according to user requirements. Consequently, various data mining techniques are performed to analyze the sampled data. Finally, using the visual functions in the system, the result is represented by graphs and charts for better representation. The signalized intersection in range of 40 meters from the stop line is videotaped, and then the video is processed using the image processing and pattern recognition to obtain tracks of moving vehicle. The data mining system developed in this study is then used to analyze the data. Some valuable results were obtained. |
