| Summary | In SAR convention and relevant requirement, every country is urged to support technical assistance for the training of personnel necessary for search and rescue. To ensure SAR personnel to reach and maintain a high level of competence, adequate training is needed. In this study, we have visited Maritime SAR Agencies of UK, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong, as we also collected related and materials. We have also completed a general public opinion survey, to make statistical analysis. A seminar was held to discuss this subject. An integrated training system complying with current requirements is properly prepared. We recommended revisions of relevant national regulations and encouragement of the civil to participate in maritime SAR. This can serve for the planning Training programs and development of SAR specialists training. |
