| Summary | The main purpose of this project is to strengthen marine safety management in our country, and establish a National Ship Safety Management Standard and Certification System (NSM System) referring to the ISM Code, to push ahead shipping companies to establish a safety management standard procedure, to promote navigation security, reduce accidents and consumption, and increase business and competitive ability. This research depends on the integration and analysis of the International Safety Management Code, study and discussion of related domestic and foreign information and laws, collection and analysis related internal and international maritime casualties, carrying out of questionnaire inquires and orientation to interview shipping companies in our country, holding experts symposiums and referring to the method of major countries abroad, the opinions of interrelated people, and considering the condition of our country to draw up the reference implementation solution and related measures of the NSM System. The research result can provide the government agencies and domestic shipping industry with references in the future to promote ship safety management. |
