Summary | In this handbook, we propose a set of operational regulations of traffic impact assessment (TIA) for site development. It includes general regulations of evaluation procedures, operational steps, task content and necessary techniques in dealing with related factors for all sites. Besides, based on the different characters of each type of development site, such as habitation zone, industrial zone, industrial and commercial complex zone, hospital, college, golf course, recreational zone and large commercial facility, we also elaborate individual regulations for each of them, respectively. Finally, we suggest a list of review for TIA reports proposed by developers. In order to enhance the readability of this handbook, we create a special chapter mainly to define terminology of TIA. In addition, we also summarize relative laws and regulations that can be referred by developers in avoiding violating them while preparing TIA reports. |
