| Summary | The purpose of this report is to review the transportation performance management on Lunar New Year's Day, 2001. The content includes the review of goal of policy, action plans, implementation of work items, warm-up plan, work procedures, evaluation indice, significant findings, implementation results, and recommendations. Overall, the traffic is well-managed in the beginning period of the vacation but worsened in the end of the period. So we offer some suggestions for future traffic management, such as designing traffic management methods for two-day off-job weekend, refining traffic control of substitutive roads, adding the representative indices and standards, improving the prevention and handling ability for accidents, and doing questionnaire survey for satisfaction. |
