Summary | This report documents the improvement institutionalization of transportation safety for railway. Contents include analysis of accidental examples, reviews on existing institutions of transportation safety for railway, improvements, analysis of improvements. The existing institutions include the timing and procedures of emergency, processes of connection of passengers on roads, and processes of injured passengers. Several suggested improving safety strategies were initiated, such as building up an excellent supervision system, initiating an examination system when trains are delayed, starting an union controlling system of Taiwan Railway Administration and Railway Reconstruction Bureau when an accident occurs, providing open contracts with passenger transport companies for transferring passengers, etc. |
