| Summary | Passenger Transportation Information System, National Traffic Information System, and City Traffic Information System are three major subsystems of the e-IOT Traffic Information Services System which is promoted by Institute of Transportation (IOT). Millions of people have been served by the system. It is believed that the performance of the system is excellent. In order to realize the derivative benefit for system users, system administration and local environment, the following tasks are performed in this study. To discuss the domestic and foreign benefit evaluation methods for ITS system To analyze the subsystems characteristics of e-IOT Traffic Information Services system To specify evaluation indices of e-IOT Traffic Information Services system To estimate the system performance. The long-term performance of the system is examined in this study. It is believed that with the usage of a questionnaire survey and minor modification of the system, the system may provide more information to meet the users’ needs. Furthermore, the proposed evaluation method developed in this study can be a reference material ofor the evaluation method for the related ITS systems. |
