| Summary | Published in February 2005 The major accomplishments of this project are to improve the problems of the existing system such as: redundant incidents, age miscalculation in incidents, low successful rate of data link between incidents and mandatory insurance, incidents data and health insurance data etc. During the course of this project, some other problems were discovered such as: wrong-input about gender in mandatory insurance and liability insurance. The corrections had been made and the problems had been solved. The data of the newly year had been added into the existing data system. Besides, in order to have a more comprehensive prototype data system, the violation records data of drivers and vehicles had been added into this existing system. Expertise in various domains of profession such as: transportation, insurance, and medicine had been consulted, and their opinions had been incorporated in the system design to make the system a more practical one. In addition, the ICDMAP software had been applied in this system, therefore the degree of injury could be calculated from the primary and secondary codes of health insurance data. |
