| Summary | This research has explored the feasibility of establishment of integrated administrative systems on railroad and roadway in Taiwan. Current organizational characteristics of railroad and roadway have been examined. Also, the substitute administrative systems have been evaluated. This research has analyzed the administrative systems from both the aspect of interorganizational relations, not only vertical but also horizontal, and the view of policy management. Literature review, brain storm, and key informant interview have been the approaches used to examine all the relevant issues. This research has proposed feasible administrative systems on railroad and roadway in Taiwan by which the efficiency of transportation policy-making can be attained, and the managerial effectiveness as well. |
