| Summary | Taiwan island is surrounded by sea. With its beautiful scenery along the coast, and the abundant resources for tourism, truly has great potentials for exploration. With such good assets Taiwan can become an ocean country. In these few years, our national income has been growing, people are paying more attention to leisure activities, and ocean activity is one of the leisure activities that will be attracted day by day. Recently, the number of entertainment fishing boat has boomed, but the environment for the ocean activities must be improved, especially when the activity items (such as fishing, sight-seeing) between yacht division of transport section and the entertainment fishing division of fishing department are overlapped. Problems occur to the suitability of boats, the safety and berth, and the safety of facilities. Through the systematic analysis, we find that the number of tour trips has a big difference in the peak month and off-peak month, the activities of entertainment fishing and yacht business have been overlapped. Besides, there are not enough safe wharfs for the tourists in Hua-Lien fishing port area. To ameliorate this situation, we must speed up the renewal boat facilities, strengthen the safety facilities of the wharf, and promote the usage efficiency of berth. This is the way to develop a good environment. Finally, fishing department should try to encourage the entertainment fishing boat business to retransfer into yacht business. |
