| Summary | This research use public transportation data(including loading factor,schedule,automated vehicle location,origin and destination) to design and evaluate several public transportation data visualization dashboards. Through analytic procedure, this research also provide data-oriented innovative public transportation service strategy. Based on Taiwan’s specific public transportation data structure, this research analyze several data set which haven’t been take advantage of,due to accessibility and technique, and then visualize results by designing dashboard. The main results including identification approach of bus demand hotspot, and innovation transit service such as demand-response bus and flexible schedule of bus stop.In the future, transit agency can refer this research to study trip OD characteristics, transfer characteristics and demand hotspot characteristics so that they can improve service quality of bus,match public transportation supply and demand, which will make Taiwan’s public transportation industry more competitive. |
