Summary | This project has been implemented in accordance with the traffic network data that was updated in 2009. Based on road change information from the Road Maintenance Department and reliable map sources, such as topographic maps, photos basic maps, aerial photos, satellite images, etc., this project is carried out with the goal of providing users with the most current status of traffic network map information. The project’s major accomplishments this year (2010) include the following: Maintained and updated traffic network database; Updated street numbers; Updated information of other layers, including landmark features, bridges, and tunnels, as well as city, town and village layers; Validated the attributes and logic of the traffic network: (1) Validated the geometry of the traffic network (2) Used data logic to verify the attributes of the traffic network; Maintained and expanded the digital maps website; Developed Road Network Digital map database and import-export feature. |
