| Summary | In recent years, with the trend of global logistics, there have been many new service demands in the truck freight transportation industry. For promotion truck freight transportation industry development, this study analyze the industry development status and issues, including domestic freight volumes, the allocation of business and private use trucks and pricing regulations. On the other hand, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the industry in Taiwan, the related regulations of truck freight transportation analysis and comparison with U.S. and Japan, and this study proposes several regulation amendments to reflect the socioeconomic changes in the truck freight transportation industry. Finally, this study proposes three strategies including intelligence, internationalization and knowledge-based for future transportation and logistics policies making, and assist industry who adapted industry economic environment changes, and can continued maintained competition advantage. |
