| Summary | In accordance with the instructions of the Executive Yuan, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications carried out the projects "Establishment of Cycle Single-portal System Prototype and Rider Feedback Project" and "Upgrade of the Taiwanbike Website and Update of the Diversified Network of Cycling Route" in 2020 and 2021. The project promoted the construction of the Taiwanbike Website. This project continued the results of the previous plan, and the content is divided into three parts. First, the project improved website functions based on feedback from riders and satisfaction surveys, and combined https://taiwanbike.tw with https://taiwanbike.taiwan.net.tw. The information in the website integration must be presented in English. Second, the automatic route planning function was incorporated into regional and multi-route routes, as well as handling county and city interviews and data inspection, revision, digitization and related function expansion. Third, the project assisted the Tourism Bureau in hosting World Bicycle Day - Cycling Around Taiwan and handled the optimization of the Cycling Route APP and track heat of map functions, as well as held APP training courses and practical riding tests. |
