| Summary | Traditional management and regulation of Transportation Industry is facing the crisis of being replaced by new technology and new type of economy. Because of the crisis, government should reconsider the necessity of regulations governing domestic commercial bus carriers and vehicle transportation to keep their operation in order and improve transportation market. The main context of project is: First, to investigate the operation environment of (a) regular passenger carriers, (b) urban passenger carriers and (c) tourist coach carriers. Second, to improve the development of domestic commercial bus transportation based on law and review its possible legal limits. Third, to put forward proposals to the Legislature and recommendations to companies and the government. The main purposes of the project include: (A) Establish a management for future commercial bus operations;, (B) Formulate legal regulations for commercial bus operations; (C) Discuss the influence of FTAs on commercial bus operations and possible solutions to it. |
