Summary | Published in April 2004 IOT SERIAL No. 93-63-796, 150pp. In this study, geophysical methods were used to investigate the soil speed structure. H/V ratios from microtremor measurements were used to study the site effect and soil liquefaction potential of the Taipei Harbor area. H/V ratios from microtremor measurements were compared to the Haskall Method theory simulation and the analytical results of earthquake data from 2 pieces of TSMIP and downhole accelerometer. The ground amplification ratio and predominant resonant frequency during earthquake were also investigated. |
