| Summary | This research firstly explores current transportation planning problems and the related regulations, analyzes the relationship between transportation plan and urban plan, and tries to reestablish an adequate transportation plan system and its mechanisms. Then, we discuss alternatives that may reach the same purpose as legislation for integrated transportation plan, including adjustment of current laws and regulations, institution of "transportation plan law", and establishment of commission command. We conclude that legislation will be the long-term direction for our transportation plan in future. Finally, the steps and items of short-term and long-term researches are suggested for implementation of a comprehensive, coordinate, continuing, consistent, and interactive transportation plan. |
