| Summary | Published in January 2004 IOT SERIAL NO. 93-4-3251, 297pp. In order to analyze causes of road traffic accidents, researchers currently must time and effort to get related data case by case. In addition, different projects may repeat the same procedure for the same data. Therefore, this research integrated several different sites’ database systems that are related to the data of road traffic and designed a prototype database system. It aims to help the road traffic researchers and decision-makers to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively if the integrated database system can be implemented in the future. To design an integrated database, we first analyze all the four databases and refer to the linked study results in this research. Besides, we apply prototype database system output data to five subjects to verify the feasibility and usability of the prototype database system. |
