| Summary | This project and its relevant works was the fifth-year program of a five-year on-job training scheme for traffic engineers. In order to promote the needed professional knowledge of staff traffic engineers, a five-year project were conducted with a series of training programs between January 2002 and November 2006. The whole program included the collection of new scientific and technological knowledge and held systematic professional traffic engineering training courses. Two exhibitions were held in the third (2004) and the fifth year (2006). In addition to enhancing the recent development of Intelligent Transportation System, the project of this year held an exhibition and introduced the advanced scientific and technological knowledge of traffic engineering. The project aimed at transferring theories and practices of traffic engineering and transportation system, and improving the qualities of traffic professionals. |
