It includes major current construction projects, current status of the systems, general operations information, capacity data, and demand growth trends of various transportation systems,, including rail, highway, maritime transportation, air transportation, and urban transportation. The first portion of each chapter addresses the current state of the given system, while the latter portion uses a time series prediction model for passenger and freight transport capacity to describe system trends in said capacity.
