| Summary | This research titled Analytical Mechanism for Taiwan’s Steady-State Logistics Statistics and Its Competitive Power in Logistics , is intended to further the logistic policy objectives of the Executive Yuan aim and to implement the vision of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in order to establish an analytical mechanism for Taiwan’s competitive power in logistics, to support the MOTC policies to strengthen Taiwan’s international transportation capabilities, and to raise the policy objectives for service quality of the nation’s logistics industry.
This study offers a forward-looking monography on transportation and logistics intended to facilitate exchanges and sharing of knowledge in the transportation logistics field. To do so, the study describes an analytical mechanism for automated data collection from motor vehicle freight traffic reporting, an analytical mechanism for the competitive power of Taiwan’s transportation and logistics industry, an analytical mechanism for freight flows, and proposes corresponding transportation and logistics strategies. |
