| Summary | The purpose of this research is to establish the strategies and guidelines for Taiwan’s ASV (Advanced Safety Vehicles) developments with the con-siderations of domestic traffic conditions and peculiar automobile industrial environments. We first construct a full spectrum system architecture of ASV. This architecture aims to provide a full coverage of all possible items in an ASV. Then, we arrange the development priorities of each ASV item based on the traffic accident reports published by the Bureau of Police Department. Finally, we adopt the SWOT method to deliver the development strategies of each ASV item from the perspectives of strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat. These suggested strategies would be a good foundation and guidelines for Taiwan’s ASV industry. |
