At present, there are no clear regulations and standards for the use of traditional and new-type traffic facilities in Taiwan. Although the old ways of setting up facilities can be followed, we are unable to assess the benefits of these traffic facilities and choose appropriate traffic facilities for locations of different road types. In addition, due to the lack of the suitability evaluation of the products of traffic facilities, we can only depend on the manufacturer's recommendations while using new-type facilities. Therefore, a study for how to use a variety of traffic facilities is necessary. In this study, we tried to collect some references and find out the traffic facility characteristics of different road types. Then we can know the effect and preference to traffic facilities of every domestic applying unit at the same time. Through statistical analysis, we suggested some regulations for reference to ensure relevant traffic facilities to function effectively. |
