| Summary | In recent years, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) has made enormous efforts on relative research topics of the life cycle evaluation of roadway system facilities ,such as application of bridge life cycle assessment methods and the transportation facility basic data. In order to apply previous research results to the actual facilities, such as tunnel, pavement, and slope, this project emphasizes on the process of maintenance, repair and rehabilitation (MR&R) management, and mainly depends on field investigates and interview of experts and scholars. This project analyzes current procedure of maintenance management in transportation facilities, and the data collected from the field investigation can be analyzed to conclude the important indexes that influence MR&R of transportation facilities. According to simulation of those important indexes, the deterioration models can be justified. An assessment process in MR&R is established and demonstrated by a case study in the last. |
